i made dopey journal comics for two weeks, just to see if i could do it. and i could! i stopped for some reason about a week ago, so here's all i made:

i stopped the night i saw bob dylan play, so i will make a text journal comic for that: bob dylan is pretty old, maybe like a hundred.

Smoking cigarettes and drinking beer on a balcony seriously sounds so great right now but I am at work and cannot do any of those things and I don't have a balcony at home anyway but I do have a front porch so

I've had experiences like yours at the concert, except it was a show comprised of 'Nardcore and peace punk bands. 'Nardcore, mind you, is noted for their random bouts of violence. It was scary, but a fun show. Everything got smeared with lard by the end of the night.

I went to a Zoé concert once. It was a triple-header: Los Tres, Zoé and Gustavo Cerati. Can't say I liked Zoé live, though: It was too mild all around. They came after Los Tres, these Chilean guys who totally rock the stage and sing some crazy songs, and before former Soda Estereo frontman Cerati. They definitely lacked impact.

But I've seen people here in Mexico throw thrash and shout profanities at artists before a concert, and then totally change their attitude. Even though I am Mexican, it's still very surreal to me.

I bought those tiny little skeletons when I lived in Mexico City. I too was fooled... I thought they used magnets maybe perhaps. It was the cats' favorite toy for a while.

I saw one of those dancing puppet things debugged on some travel show but I forgot how they did it. Tiny thin wires attached to the radio I think. Low tech but very effective.

these = excellent.

i like your mispelling of "todo" as "toto". like the dog.

i was on tech crew for a zoe concert last summer, and the owner of the venue shut them down early because the lead singer kept telling the audience in spanish to hop the barrier, stage dive, and throw things. humorous!
